There are a lot of questions that people have when visiting a new Therapist. Find some of the most common questions people have below. If something is still unclear, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

How should I prepare for my first treatment?

Initial Consultations include a client intake form sent via email, this form is to gather information about your condition or injury. Please answer this as fully as possible to build up an idea of current symptoms, clinical history, current medication, to begin a working diagnosis and treatment plan. All information is stored according to GDPR rules and is strictly confidential. Please bring loose fitting clothes to your appointment, preferably shorts and for women a sports bra. There is a changing room onsite. You are welcome to bring a chaperone with you to your appointment. Patients under 18 require a chaperone to remain present in the room for the duration of the appointment. 

What should I expect from my first session?

Your first initial consultation appointment will include an in depth history of symptoms and any relevant medical history, a physical assesment, an explanation and informed consent for any treatments, treatment, aftercare advice, exercise rehabilitation prescription if necessary 

Cancellation Policy 

The Body Restores aim is to provide a quality reliable service to all our clients. No-shows and cancellations not only inconvenience us as providers, but other clients waiting for our services.  Please be aware of our policy regarding cancellations and missed appointments.  
Appointment cancellationWhen a person is injured and in pain, appointments are valuable. Therefore, your advanced notice will allow another client access to that appointment. If cancellation is necessary, we require that you provide at least 24 hours notice prior to the appointment date and time. Cancellations later than 24 hours will be charged at the full appointment rate.
How to cancel your appointmentPlease contact us via 07494037661 stating your name and the appointment you wish to cancel and any alternative date or time you would like to reschedule, or using the booking service provider to reschedule the appointment. 
Late cancellations/ No-shows A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointed time. A no show is when the client misses an appointment without notification of intent to reschedule or cancel. To recover the cost of services a 100% fee of the service booked will be charged. Repeat late cancelations or no shows will be required to pay up front for any future services offered.
